Mon Sep. 21, we had flooding issues like so many in West GA in Douglasville. My basement flooded endangering the items my mother was storing at my house while she was remodeling her home. We called units and they had a Unit delivered to us that same evening! Despite I-20 being closed, and many secondary streets having been washed away the driver found a way to bring a storage unit to my house. 1. Pack old towels, blankets, etc. between boxes to minimize the shifting of boxes inside the storage UNIT.

2. Do not over pack boxes; bulging box sides can damage surrounding boxes.

3. Place liquid containers in plastic bags to reduce the chance of leaking.

4. Number each box. Create a list for each box and its contents. This will help in case a box goes missing, you need to make a claim, or when looking for items in your new location.
